RE: Registration / Activation Issue (help)

Hi folks, I had new hard drive (SSD) fitted into my laptop and I am trying to register my copy of SIBELIUS but the system does not seem to be accepting any codes whatsoever? I have REINSTALLED my copy of 'Sibelius 7' and keep getting the same message in the 'Help' section (please see attached screen...

Re: Quick Forum Question (newbie)

Hi Andy, I have read around 1,000 x pages on FM related materials last year. And there are still so many things I do not yet fully understand. The DX's have huge potential, but only if you invest the time and energy will you be able to draw upon the vastness of the instrument(s). Capture (640x450).j...

Re: Quick Forum Question (newbie)

Hi Andy,

FM = Fear of Maths! :D

300 x pages is a very large amount for the FM7 Synthesis explanation! The DX7 manual was barely one third of that! lol

Re: Quick Forum Question (newbie)

Thanks Andy, Well, yes, playing parts in live will always generate more feeling and humanism into a MIDI arrangement. I mostly use the NORD and ROLAND XV50/50 (module) for making tracks. HALion is OK, but its more easier and convenient to just use my two hardware devices. I have purchased EZ DRUMMER...

Re: Quick Forum Question (newbie)

Hi Andy, Well I have Cubase Artist along with the HALion Sonic presets library. So thats what I use for my personal backing-tracks. For playback/checking any of my Sibelius scores, the Sibelius presets library is fine for me. I suppose if I wanted to use one of my Sibelius scores as a personal backi...

Re: Quick Forum Question (newbie)

Thanks Bop,

Both my Windows PC's have 500GB (but of course some of these amounts have been used). I already have Sibelius 7 installed on both of them without any issues.

But does the 7.5 come with extra sounds?

Cheers,

Paul

Re: Quick Forum Question (newbie)

Hi Andy, When I just opened my 'Sibelius 7' I clocked the version number as being 7.1.3 . I remember installing some extra PERCUSSION type sounds during the download update. I upgraded from 'Sibelius First' to 'Sibelius 7' about 18 x months ago. Is it worthwhile/expensive to upgrade to V7.5 ? Best, ...

Re: Quick Forum Question (newbie)

Hi Andy, Thanks for your very clear instructions. I found it straight away! That will be a shame if this site closes down. I quite like the layout of it and it is not at all competitive like a lot of other forums can be. I have not used my Sibelius very much last year because I have been concentrati...
