Re: Back after a long time - Piano staff split question
You can use control-select to copy all the notes you want, and then paste them into the other staff and they will appear in the correct octave.

Re: Tuplets across the beat (not bar)
If I'm not misunderstanding, you just want to adjust the beaming of your score. You can do that through the beaming quickpad. Just click over to the beaming option (either mouse onto the beam option on the quickpad, or push ++ from the main editing screen) then highlight the note you want to be the ...

Transposition
I'm copying a score that contains alto saxophones. We are in the Key of E Major, and my altos are being automatically bumped to 5 flats, but the original key I'm copying off of is in 7 sharps. How do I make it so I can just copy the part over as written and not do the every-note-brain-crunch to put ...

Re: Piano 3 staves?
For future reference, you can simply click on a bar line and a little box will appear at any breaks between instruments. You can click and drag that box down and the barline will now cross all the staves you want grouped together.

Re: Different beam groupings for LH and RH on piano
As far as I know, the only way to do this would be to pick one and write your piece, and then manually go through and rebeam the other stave. Time consuming I know, but I can't honestly think of any other way to do it.

Re: Need To Set Up Short, Separate Pieces Within A Score....
I do this all the time, since I write musicals and each "number" is it's own short entity. 1. When you get to your ending of one piece, create a new bar that will be the start of your next piece. Click on the barline between the two pieces, then go to Layout, and then under breaks, click System Brea...

Re: Hiding cautionary time signatures after final barlines
I fought with this for a VERY long time before I finally figured it out. Now I do it all the time and it always works for both hidden key and time signatures. TIME SIGNATURES 1. Click the barline that will be your final barline. Before making your barline style change, use your Split System, Page Br...

Smiley Face Expression
I somehow made a Smiley Face in an expression, and I have no idea how I did it! Has anyone else done this and/or knows the key command to make this happen? I use lots of key commands, and I know I had just typed in sffz (ctrl+E -> click -> ctrl+sff -> ctrl+alt+shift+z) and then in my haste I acciden...
