I'm very confused about this request. A bar of 4/4 contains 8 eighth notes of equal length. 4/4 = 8/8 = 16/16, etc. A bar of 9/8 contains 9 eighth notes of equal length and, without changing the metronome mark, will last longer than a 4/4 bar. I hope this is what you were asking about You might glance at the attached .pdf to check before you start reading. Create your score layout by choosing your instruments and arranging them in the vertical order you'd like. You can go ahead and input all your time signatures and music now if you like....

Enough RAM means I don't think that's the problem.
I got sib 5 when I bought it!

I'm using sib5 and have Sib Gold and Essential (16 and 32), GPO and Virtual Drum Line sounds. Running on XP on a Lenovo T61 with enough RAM.
