Re: Spacing of music problems
I think I've solved the problem. I made some adjustments after I applied freeze positions, which may have caused Sibelius to make adjustments. After I used the freeze positions command and made no further adjustments to the system, it has kept my spacing.

Spacing of music problems
I'm working on a large orchestral score. In one passage there is a cadenza that fills a whole system. I have formatted this page four times and each time, when I reopen the project the spacing is messed up. I have frozen the positions for this system so that can't be the problem. Why won't things st...

divisi grace notes
I haven't figured out a way to do this, Sibelius won't line up the grace notes in voice 2 with voice 1. Is there a way to do this?

Re: problem with tupelo entry
Sorry for the mis-spelling of tuplet. I need to report this topic as a bug because Sibelius refuses to notate this tuplet with the correct number of beams. I'm attaching a sample of what the program will notate, which is incorrect: there should be only two beams with a time meter of 6/8. I hope they...

problem with tupelo entry
The piece I'm engraving is in 6/8 time. For some reason Sibelius will not allow me to enter the 8 tuplet as it appears in the attachment. It should allow me to enter up to an 11 tuplet, but I keep getting the message that the tuplet i to long to fit. Is it possible this is a bug? Ephraim Jones Sibel...

Re: Wrong order for accidentals?
After entering more chords I'm discovering more occasions where the order of accidentals is reversed on some chords. Anyone else experiencing this? Do I have a wrong setting somewhere?

Wrong order for accidentals?
I'v noticed, while inputing chords that Sibelius puts accidentals in the right order except when the top note is a natural sign. Is this a flaw or is this an engraving rule I'm unaware of? See attachment.

Is this possible to notate in Sibelius
HarpGliss..jpg I'm working my way through a score to learn Sibelius and I would like to know if it is possible to extend the beams beyond the last note as in the attachment. The score is by Ravel and he writes this sort of figure rather frequently. Thanks, I'm a new Sibelius user and also a long ti...
