Re: Sib 7 Sounds Solo Strings?
Hi Bob, Thanks for your reply! I did the trial version because I was strapped for time (long story short(er), applying for grad school and was told that SIbelius playback was fine so long as I was using the latest version. I have 8.4 but it has some bugs in playback that other forum users had told m...

Re: Sib 7 Sounds Solo Strings?
Update: So I've gotten the "normal" solo strings, but they seem to /only/ play "normal" in that they do not slur at all. It sounds very much like things I used to write back on Noteflight where articulations did not matter in the slightest. Sibelius was never the best at it, but do the Sibelius 7 so...

Re: Sib 7 Sounds Solo Strings?
There we go. It was apparently too big, so I had to scale it down several times. So, this view might seem super normal to some users. What I'm used to seeing is, under each string instrument, there'll then be various sound patches (Cello 1, Cello 1 pizz etc. Cello 2, Cello 2 pizz etc., Cello Solo v6...

Sib 7 Sounds Solo Strings?
Hello, I just downloaded the trial version of Sibelius Ultimate to see if it would fix a lot of issues I've been having and have run into something very odd. The mixer seems to have changed (it now has a lot of nested menus to pick from) and I can't seem to find just solo string samples? I found tha...

How to Specify a Trilled Note in Sibelius 6.x
Hello, I've seen notation where one can specify the auxiliary note to be trilled as a small cue note in parenthesis next to the primary note (especially useful when doing a trill wider than a major second). How can I implement this in Sibelius 6? I know how to make notes cue size, but this will thro...

Sib 6.2: Screen Moving Around when Selecting things
Hello everyone, This is my first post on this forum, so I hope this is the right place. Just today I've noticed a rather odd and annoying issue. When I click on a note in my score, or if I move it (with the up/down arrow keys to change the pitch), my screen suddenly shifts, and often not even in a w...
