Heya :) I have arranged a score in Sib 5 and need to play it to my friend.... I'm planning on exporting it as a .midi but when I add dynamics to the score they're not as 'different' as I need... as in the difference between P and F isn't that much.... On the mixer I can change the levels really well...

Sibelius sees a 1 line percussion stave and a 5 line percussion stave as different instruments.... If you go to Create > Instruments Under Rock> Percussion and Drums there's an instrument called 'Percussion [5 lines] Insert that into your score and then copy your passage onto it! And then just delet...

There's actually an article on the sibelius page... it just doesn't come up at all when you search for it (which seems to defy the point of a search but there we go! I only found it through sheer luck and randomly pressing links!) Apar...

Right click on your sibelius icon and click open file location
Then in the window that opens there should be the Sibelius5 executable. If you right click on that and select the option 'run as administrator' and then that should work
