Using Photscore Prof 4. I have checked preferences and fingering is ticked. Youe suggestion is an interesting one that I will look into. Thanks for your advice.

I have tried various settings from 200 DPI up to 600. Also tried various settings from grey and white, text, picture etc. But it never seems to pick up the figuring which means a lot of time adding it manually in Sibelius.

When scanning classical guitar music with Photo Score it doesn't pick up the figureing. I'm scanning on an old Epson scanjet 2400. Would a newer scanner poick up the fingering or is it just too small to be captured?

I have Sib 5 happily running on my old PC with Windows XP. I am thinking of upgrading my PC for a new one with Windows 7 but and fearfull that Sib 5 may not run on it.

Can anyone confirm that they have Sib 5 running on a PC with Windows 7?

There may be other ways of doing it but you could try:

Plug-ins - Other - Make layout uniform

This lets you set the number of bars per line and the number of lines per page. Hope this is what you are looking for.
