Not recognizing computer keyboard shortcuts

Hi there,

About an hour ago, Sibelius stopped recognizing the shortcut keys to input notes on the score. When I press "f" or "g," for example, notes do not appear on the score. If I press "x" to flip the stem of a note, Sibelius also does not recognize the command. In fact, it doesn't recognize any single key shortcut command except for inputting the notes "b" and "c." It's a not a number lock thing nor is it a keyboard issue because everything works outside of Sibelius. I have tried opening up a new score and restarting sibelius as well as my computer but nothing seems to work.

I think it's a bug, but has anyone heard of this problem before? Are there any solutions to get rid of bugs?

Also I'm running Sibelius 7 on a Macbook Pro running 10.6.8. Everything is updated.
