Upgrading to Lion OSX for iCloud

I recently purchased an iPad and want to use the iCloud to sync my iPad and my Mac. It requires I upgrade to OSX Lion on my Mac PowerBook Pro (I currently have Snow Leopard.) Will Sibelius and Scorch work on Lion or are there issues I need to worry about (and forget using iCloud on my Mac? I am currently using Sib. 6.2.
