Sibelius 7 problems creating PDFs

I've been using Sibelius 7 since it came out, but recently it's started to have "issues" with creating PDFs. When I was running Windows 7, from time to time it would come up with "Bad allocation" and then crash, having created a 0kb file. A quick restart and it was all fine.
Last week I had the wonderful pleasure of Windows 10 installing itself when I left my PC on doing a system scan - grrr
Now, no PDF is created at all, or occasionally, a 0kb file. Is there a known tweak to deal with this?
