When inputting chords in on a staff, the chord name does not automatically capitalize nor does the tab key move to the next measure, rather, just a space. Any suggestions on how to rectify this?

How are you inputting chord symbols? Did you change something in "Edit chord symbols.

Thanks for responding. I am inputting the chord symbols from my computer keyboard. And to my knowledge I did not change anything in the Appearance/Engraving Rules/Chord Symbols. I don't see anything in that area to change that nor do I see anything in Preferences. I do have a second computer which does work properly. I've compared the two and don't see a thing. Any ideas ae welcome.

I have answered my own question. In Preferences/Other/Chord Symbols, I had a check mark in "Use legacy chord symbol input." I took out the check mark and that did the trick.
