Easier way to insert a blank page

Wouldn't it be nice to select a measure and have one keystroke entry to insert a blank page to the left of the selected measure?

I find it very ackward to put in a page break and then have to hide 5 lines, remember how to hide the remaining single staff, then figure out how to add 5 lines and magically have a blank page with the proper clefs appearing again.

This method reminds me of Microsoft's way of stopping Windows- you have to press the START button to stop. Sorta counterintuitive! There has GOT to be a better (easier) way!
