Chord Diagrams just stopped working

I'm running 7.1.2 and in the beginning when I first installed it, fretted instruments' chord diagrams came up beautifully. One day, Sibelius stopped adding them. I tried everything I could to get it to start adding them again, including re-installing Sibelius (another adventure), but I can't add chord diagrams any more. Help!

Make sure your version is 7.1.3, and consider version 7.5.1.

Spent a couple of hours downloading the 7.1.3 upgrade at 90s speeds, reinstalled Sibelius, and still no chord diagrams. Anybody has a reason why or, even better, a fix? Tried contacting AVID through their mobius strip of a website. It was a bust there too. Spent good money for Sibelius and the one thing I truly need doesn't work. Getting discouraged here.

Things don't suddenly stop working for no reason. Either you inadvertently did something or, more likely, a change was made to your computer that's caused this to happen. Think back to when this happened. Did you install anything or make some changes?

I'm not 100% certain but I think Sibelius uses custom fonts for this. Perhaps the font has somehow been deleted? The old fix for this was to install Scorch, but I'm not sure that option is still open to you.

You don't say which platform you're on, PC or Mac, and which OS you're using. That may have a bearing on things.

And you should also ask the question at the official Sibelius chat pages. That's where you get detailed, and very fast responses. Contacting Avid directly? Forget it.
