printing bass with tabs
I have a score with this instruments: tp, tb, sax, kbd, bass, bass-tab, drum
I want to print the horn section together (tb, tb, sax)
I want to print the bass with the bass-tab
my problem: how can i print out the bass voice together with his tabs? Or the three horn sections.
Thank you
rusmus

You can use Extract Parts from the Parts menu (In Sib 7.5) to choose the parts (instruments) you want and then save them to a separate file and print that. I think the original layout and formats etc are retained.
I don't normally use this, but just delete instruments from the original score and save that to another file.

Sibelius 6.2, 7.5.1, Windows 11
thanks KJ
when i use Parts/Extract Parts/ an i choose the bass and basstab voice, it makes me two separate files.
My way was: save the score under a second name and delete the other voices. But this is a workaround. I think sibelius can solution this in a eleganter way

thanks hartt007, this is what i do. I save the score under an other name. take out the rhythm section. So the horn section is in the new file. The same i do with the bass and basstab. but when you have a beginner big band than you have to save the score several times for getting the right voices together. i wonder that sibelius not have an easier way to do that...
It's simple!
Select Parts in the Ribbon, then New Part at the extreme left. In the resulting dialogue box, you select the part(s) you need in the left panel and add them, building up a new combined Part in the right panel, that you can then print out.
That's in 7.1, I'd assume the same for 7.5.
