Sibelius beginners can discuss all things Sibelius here ("how do I...?").

Tenor Sax part. I want to enter G7. When I do so it changes to A7. Is there a way to enter the chords into the parts as seen by the part? So, tenor sax sees G7, I enter G7, it shows G7, and when copied to piano shows F7? Thanks

You'd have to look in the manual to be sure, but this make sense as tenor sax is a transposing instrument.

Probably the only way to not have the chords transpose would be to have the score be non transposing. That makes all instruments be C instruments. It seems to me that as soon as you transpose the score to give to players, all the notes and chords will transpose also. The sax player needs to see their part in terms of their transposition. As a Bb part, not a C part. This means notes and chords.

yup, I'm a sax player and want to put in the chords I play. Seems not possible. It's a good exercise to know the concert pitch, so I will learn to like it :)
