Hello Everyone,

I'm new here and I'm using a Windows 10 PC with the latest version of Sibelius First. I hope to learn as much as I can about this very useful program.

When I copy part of my piano score, to another part of the same score, it is not copying the adjustments I made with times signatures or tempo. Is there something I need to be doing before I simply copy and paste?

Also, is it possible to use the Sibelius 7 First Sounds in Kontakt player? I've searched around and it looks like you can, but I can't figure out how to do that. My DAW is Mixcraft 8.

All the best

Rob

1) do all your changes etc in the Full Score and they will be carried across to the Parts. If you start messing around doing things the other way, you'll get in a mess.

2) No, Sibelius Sounds will only ever work with Sibelius Player in Sibelius. They've been designed NOT to work with anything else.

Hi Andy,

I am not copying to any parts. Here's what I'm doing. I have 10 bars of piano music, at bar 4 it changes from 4/4 to /6/8. When I copy those 10 bars to the same score, it is only copying the notes, not the time signature changes. I have to re-enter the time signatures again.

Is there a way to get it to copy the notes and the time signature changes?

Cheers

rob

So don't copy the whole 10 bars at once. Do it 4 and 6, and set up the meter before hand.
