My professor's planning to purchase the PhotoScore Ultimate, but she does not have Sibelius but Finale2012... What would happen if she opens xml. in the Finale2012, and are there serious differences? I only have Sibelius so I do not know what the risk is. Has anybody tried that?

And, Wanna ask are there any recommended brands of the flatbed scanner with TWAIN-compliant for Mac OS because in the website they only recommend customers to buy scanners for PhotoScore 4 but not for PhotoScore Ultimate. If anyone helps, really appreciate!

The website for the company that makes PhotoScore says that it works with Finale.
Almost any modern printer that has a scanner will work with Mac or PC. Or any version of PhotoScore. What country are you in? Though I don't think it make much difference.

Thank you very much!

I'm in Taiwan, my professor's preparing for her publication, wanting to try the PhotoScore, and I'm looking for the info for her.
There are some limitations listed in its website when opening the xml. in Finale, but I'm just afraid if some are not listed.

About the scanner, I prefer the Epson, and what do you think about that?
