Can I export in midi selected measures?

If you are using sib 8, I think you should be able to export selection as midi. There is a plugin for this. You might have to download it (File-->plugins-->Install plugins) then look for Export. This will bring up a list of plugins with export in the description.
It should be straightforward from there.

Can you suggest a plugin? There is no "Export" category. I didn't find a plugin for this.

OK, having finally been able to get at my machine, looks like you can only export the full score as MIDI. An alternative would be to export selection as score and then export that score as MIDI.

I would actually recommend exporting as MusicXml. Most DAWs will accept that and the results might actually be better.
