I do not manage to import files of Finale towards Sibelius 3. When I test, I have a "fatal" error message...
I uninsall and reinstall Sibelius, but nothing else.

Thanks for your help.

Make sure you are importing from the correct file type. Sibelius can open .etf files but NOT some .mus files.

This is something you can try:

Start the score in Finale, and use Edit > Update Layout to save the music as an Enigma (.etf) file. Then try again with Sibelius.

AND WHY I CANNOT IMPORT FROM ENCORE USING SIBELIUS DIRECTLY?

I HAVE MORE THAM 200 WORKS I WROTE IN ENCORE SINCE 1995,
AND I WANT POST MY ENCORE FILES IN SCORCH

SO, ANY PERSON KNOWS ONE METHOD TO ME SAVE MY ENCORE FILES
IN GRAPHIC, USING ADOBE ACROBAT READER, OR PAGEMAKER,
OR PHOTOSHOP AND SAVE AS A SCORCH PLUGIN (DONT CARE IF NOT CAN PLAYBACK, I WANT MY MUSIC IN SCORCH ANYWAY)

PLEASER NOT COME SAYING SAVE ENCORE FILES AS MIDI AND OPEN IN SIBELIUS, OR USING FINALE AND SAVE AS ETF (I DONT WANT USE FINALE!!!! ) AGAIN PLEASE! THIS IS NOT SOLVE MY PROBLEM, ONLY COMPLICATE MORE! I HAVE 200 WORKS TO SHOW IN SCORCH PLUGIN AND I CANNOT, BECAUSE IS IN ENCORE FORMAT. I CANNOT REWRITE MORE THAM 200 WORKS AGAIN!

THANKS

If you are willing to pay someone, this may help:

http://store.recordare.com/filetran10.html

But it looks like it has to be old versions of Encore, not 4.5...
