Hi There:
I'm a Finale user. A friend of mine has Sibelius and wants to share a document with me. Unfortunately, I can't open it. I know that there's a plug-in that will allow users go between the two programs quite easily. Does anyone here have that dolet? I would gladly send you the .sib document and ask if it can be converted to MusicXML so I can open it on my Finale. In exchange, I would gladly offer this exchange in trade -- any conversions from Finale.
If anyone can help me, can you email me?
Much thanks!

Looking to convert from Sib to Finale
Come on - this feature should have been in ver3 by default.
Its not good business sense to alienate Finale users, afterall
if you cant export it then why have Sibelius as an alternative
product. Yes we know midi is there but it aint perfect.

This links to the Dolet 1 for Sibelius plug-in, which is still useful for people using Sibelius 2 through 4. People using Sibelius 5 and 6 will get much better results with the Dolet 5 for Sibelius plug-in, available at:DZNote wrote:Try This site:

Did I just read correctly?
$199.95 for a plug-in to export Sibelius-files to a format which Finale can read?
Wow, I guess both companys could use some competition and after a year or so exchange between both would work. Stressing "would" because there IS no competition...
