Conversion failure

I can't convert files that my friend sent me. I use Sibelius 2 can anyone help? I don't have Finale or Allegro can I still open the Files?
Is there any way to get these files to run on Sibelius the message that I get is written below:
**Please re-open this file in Finale or Allegro and go to the last page and choose Update Layout and then save as an ETF file (Enigma Transportable File).**
