Dear All,

I have been taking a hiatus for a while and have to just be re-educated:

I have a Piano staff which has piano chords in it from a MIDI file

How do I push notes that ended up, say in the Bass staff, UP into the treble clef??

That's all ;-)

Thanks so much

Stephan

I don't think you can drag them, but you can select them and use the up arrow.

Thanks for the good idea Bob,

however, using the up arrow moves the note up diatonically.

I did discover there's one of the plug-ins called "MOVE TO OTHER STAFF" and it works only on Grand staffs (keyboards etc.)

Appreciate your willingness to help !
Blessings

You can use control-select to copy all the notes you want, and then paste them into the other staff and they will appear in the correct octave.

Thanks so much for your feedback!

I have tried CTR select - but on Mac it only highlights an entire bar, the select key doesn't seem to have any effect on the selection.
