I have recently upgraded my computer from one running XP and Sibelius 3 to one running Windows 10 and Sibelius 7. I copied all the scores from the old computer over to the new one, but I can't open any of them in Sibelius 7: it says I don't have permission to do it. How do I change these permissions?

This is a Windows issue, nothing to do with Sibelius.
Try googling 'changing Windows 10 file permissions'. You'll find some answers there that are too long to write out here!

Another possibility has to do with what kind of user account you are on, regular or administrator. Try a right click on the Sibelius exe, and select "run as administrator".

Thanks - Using the "Run as an administrator" worked, though I can't see why it's not running as an administrator anyway, as the only account on the computer the admin one.
