Making bar numbers visible

Could someone please tell me how to raise bar numbers well above the stave so that they are not concealed by the high notes above the stave. I have Sibelius 7.13

Go to Engraving Rules > Bar Numbers > Vertical Position and set the height above the staff to what you need.

You can also select and drag them around like other objects if there are only a few affected.

Many thanks for your suggestion. However, I tried that and it didn't work for me. I set the bar numbers at 6 spaces above the top of the staff instead of the standard 2.5, but nothing happened!
