I have 5 bars in the Coda in a trumpet part which Sibelius squeezed together and doesn't look right. Is there a way of spreading or stretching them out so that they're all even and would look much better?
Thanks.

Hard to tell without seeing the score, but I would try:

- Layout > Unlock score
- Add some line breaks (Ctrl Enter)
- Appearance > Reset layout (on selected bars)
- Use Tidy Score plugin

If you can tell me how to post a screen shot, I'll show you what I mean.

If you click on Upload attachment below the message box when you reply you can navigate to your screen shot and attach it. Use Place inline to include it within the message if you like. jpg (or .gif) is probably the best format as there's quite a limited file size allowance.

You could also attach your .sib file - as long as it's been compressed as a .zip file.

I would like to make these 5 bars as wide as the rest of the trumpet part. (this is not the score)
It would be nice if I could just grab the first bar and drag it to the left and the last bar for more adjustment to the right if needed, but that sounds to simple.
Thanks for your help.

You can drag bars to the left or right by doing just that, with the mouse on the bar line or a handle if visible. Maybe it would be easier to see by turning on View > Handles.

You can also drag individual notes left and right to make more space. Not sure if I'm quite getting what you want here, though?

KJ, you got it right. That's exactly what I wanted to do. I forgot about the Handles. Perfect.

Now, one other question. How would I grab that entire staff and pull it down so that it stands a little below the top bars since these 5 bars would be the Coda?

And thank you so much.

Great, glad that worked.

Again, the operation for your other query is quite simple - you can simply drag the line down:
- first select any bar on that line (so the whole bar goes blue) and drag with the mouse.

Many such formatting operations are intuitive in Sibelius, one of it's strengths.

I did what you suggested in regards to dragging the line down. I highlighted 1 bar and when I tried to drag it down the line started jumping up and down and just went back to it's original position so it wouldn't come down and stay down.
