MacOS Sierra 10.12.6
IMAC retina 5k, 2017
3.8 GHz I5
40 GB

I am trying to import text from Textedit.
I select some text, copy to clipboard, select the Lyrics symbol at the top and then select a note for the import to start.
This worked OK for a while, but then the cursor abruptly changed to a note, so that I can't select a note, only place a new note, even if I go back and select lyrics again.

Anyone else have this problem ?

I don't think anyone on here who answers questions (that's about three of us) uses First.
