Hey all, I "inherited" a score that needs to be re-orchestrated, and every measure is loaded with strange markings such as ∞C 1,121
I'm thinking they might be some kind of midi controller markings??? Has anyone come across this and do you know how to delete them all. There are literally thousands of them, so selecting 1 at a time is not practical. If I choose "hide invisibles" they disappear, but I don't always want to hide invisbles.
Thanks in advance,
Dennis

I've seen these markings when importing midi files from other sources, so they do indeed seem to be 'something' to do with midi - no idea what though. They were embedded as Technique text (you can check this by selecting one and checking in the Text tab). So you should be able to delete just these by selecting everything and use the Filter > Technique Text and pressing delete. Be careful to deselect anything that might be useful though.

Yup. Those are midi messages. Read through the manual on how to hide them.
