Thank you any assistance you can offer. How do I create a quintuplet across the entire measure (5:9) in 9/16? When I do this should I get 5 semiquavers under a bracket with "5"? Thanks.

You're going to have to specify a ratio of 5:9 when you create the tuplet and that ratio will appear above the tuplet of course. You'll have to do this from the Triplets menu in the Ribbon as simply using Ctrl-5 won't do it.

You should be able to hide the 5:9 number and replace it with a single 5 if you wish, but I'd personally leave the 5:9 there for clarity.

Good evening,

Thanks. I have tried that before but I don't think I am getting a correct result. In 9/16 time when I do 5:9 I get 5 sixteenth notes, not five eighth notes. Am I mistaken?

Thanks again!

You need to specify 10:9 as the ratio and then you'll have to fake the number if you want it. I did it with technique text but there's probably a better style.
