In the New Year I will need to reinstall Sibelius after upgrading my system to Windows 10.
Do i need to reregister Sibelius beforehand? I am using Sibelius 2019.5
Reinstall Sibelius Ultimate
Just remember to deregister your copy before you upgrade so that you don't run out of 'seats'.
Sib 6.2, 7.5 and 2024.3.1, Windows 11, 32GB RAM, 16TB 7200RPM Storage, 2TB SSD, Note Performer 4, EWQLSO, EWQLSC, Harmony Assistant and some others. mike@mike-lyons.co.uk
Not sure Sib 5 will run on W10 without using Compatibility Mode.
There has been some discussion about installing older software on W10. Some folks suggest installing some older software as the higher Administrator than the admin account you setup. Yes, the account you create in W10 is an Admin account, But there is a higher one. Right clic the install exe. and select"Run as administrator".
Can't hurt.
Yes, deactivate Sib on your old machine first. It may take a few tries to activate on your new system. Give it a few minutes.

Hi Bob,
I think the OP's post meant 2019.5 There was no such thing as 5.2019.
