simple midi question...please help

I downloaded the demo from the Sibelius website....my question is, can I use my m-audio keystation-88 to simply play music through the program? When I play it just records the notes I play into a score, but I can't hear the actual music when I am playing. For now, I am simply looking to be able to play my MIDI keyboard through a simple software I strument as if it was a piano....is that possible and if so, how do I do it? Thanks so much!
