Hi,

I am trying to import a MIDI file (piano piece) to a Sibelius 7. Regardles of whether the option "Only One Staff Per Track" is checked or unchecked I always get left and right hand notes together in one stave.

Does anybody know how to solve this.

Second question: if the mentioned problem can't be solved is it possible to split that one stave into left hand and right hand stave after importing?

Thank you.

Can't say that I ever import midi files into Sibelius. But to test for you I created a piano piece in musescore, exported as midi, and opened it in Sibelius7. It opened two staves but both were treble cleff and the wrong voices. Hmmm.
When I saved as an xml, it opened just fine. A midi file created in Sibelius reopened fine also.
Perhaps not all midis are created equal.
As to the second question, there is an arrange function in 7. 6 does also, I believe.

sort of find a solution but.. it is not ideal.

When i use sibleius as a rewire from cubase the midi connection is not lost...

still can't work on sibelius as a standalone..
