Hello, is there an automated way for live playback to have the velocity of top notes in chords be increased without having to select every single note of every single chord, i.e. at first input all the chords then set dynamic changes and finally to have all the notes in all the chords follow those dynamics but the top note to always have e.g. plus 5 velocity with respect to the other notes.

I've already tried to select the top note and put it into a different voice and increase its dynamic level by one (e.g. from mf to f) but the display of the notes gets ... a little ugly. Is there another way?

Thanks for any help...

Doing it in separate voices is the only way that I can think of right now.

To be honest, when you want this sort of thing played back, it's better off porting the score as a MIDI file or XML into a DAW, where you have total control. More work, for sure, but that's how you get realistic playback - or at least that's one element of it.
