I have been using Sibelius 6 since it came on the market, a Mac 10.5.8, a Rowland JV-30 keyboard synthesizer connected via a MIDI interface, with a PowerWave USB audio interface. With this system, I was able to enter notation and hear it played back through the JV-30, and could therefore use its playback features.

But since using Sibelius 7.5 on a new Mac Yosemite, the JV-30 is to my knowledge not selectable as a playback device, although it works well for note-inputting.

Question: How can I use the JV-30 for playback with Yosemite and Sibelius 7.5?

As suggested by Roland, the "mio 1 in 1 out USB to MIDI" interface came today. I installed it and the Mac Yosemite fails to recognize it. Playback of Sibelius files is only available through the internal computer's built-in speakers. Even though “Multi-output Device” is available in the computer and “mio” in Sibelius, there is no change. Step time of notes does not work, even though it did before with the old interface, and now even that doesn’t work for step-time note entry.

What do I do now :?:
