Midi Input issue

When using a CME midi controller with macbook pro running Yosemite, the input works fine, but I receive all of these numbers above the staff. Ideas???
The notes above the stave are MIDI data.
You can select them and hide'delete them if you wish. The reference manual will tell you how, or you can search on here as it's been dealt with before!
