Hi there,
So I'm writing an orchestral piece, and at point point, it requires extended staggered breathing between low brass. Right now I have about 4 whole notes tied together at 160 bpm with a dynamic of FF. However, in Sibelius, the note will fade out about two whole notes in, which I'm assuming is Sibelius telling me that the players will run out of breath, which is the reason I have written in "staggered breathing". Is there anyway to turn this off, and to have the whole notes playback without fading out? Thanks!

Hmmmm, well I just had Sibelius play a tuba part on c2, ff for nine measures at 30 bpm. No problem. What version of Sib. is this and on what system?

Sibelius 8? Did you upgrade, or are you new to Sibelius?

I use 7.5.1 with 7 sounds. To make playback correct there is a Bass Clarinet patch that needs to be downloaded from Avid. It clears up many problems, not just bass clarinet.
