Professional vs. Ultimate ?

Postby Gregg » Mon Dec 31, 2007 9:19 pm

Can anyone who's updated from Professional to Ultimate weigh in with a description of how they might be different. Is Ultimate noticibly different from Prof.? I've always found it takes about as much time to input directly to Sib3 as it does to scan with Prof and correct all the mistakes it makes. Does anyone notice that PhotoScore and Sib5 might be better integrated these days or is it the same maddening promise?

We're a long, long way past Sib 5!

Sib 7 and the latest free version of Photoscore are better than they were, once you get to know them but I'm with you, it's often quicker to notate direct into Sib itself - which you will find rather easier and better in later versions. If you have a powerful 64 bit machine, then Sib 7. If not, try to find a reseller who still has the less demanding, but still amazing, Sib 6.
