When I copy a hymn from a printed hymnal using PhotoScore, the staves appear sufficiently far apart to allow for the multiple lines of text, BUT when I send it to Sibelius, the staves are close together and the lines of text appear on top of the music. What's up?

I only have photoscore lite so text is not a issue for me. But I'm pretty sure that you can reformat things once the hymn is in Sibelius. Possibly with magnetic layout or just dragging things around.

Use Unlock format in the Layout menu when the score is transfered into Sibeilus to get the correct separation. Photoscore's layouts are sometimes incompatible with Sibelius' when there's a lot going on. You may then need to manually move things about if the original scanned layout is important.
