Hey All,

I just got a copy of PhotoScore 8. It scans in great.

What I can't figure out is how to change the midi sound for specific staves. Basically, I want to keep the piano as piano sound and change the vocal to more of a clarinet or trumpet sound to make it stand out for teaching purposes.

I found how to change the voice in a brand new creation, but can't figure out how to do it in an existing one.

Please clarify. Are you asking how to change voices once the piece is sent to Sibelius?

I'm wondering if you can change voices IN photoscore so I can just dump it to a wav file from there.

Sibelius, I know how, but I don't have a copy.

You can change voices/instruments in Photoscore if you right click on any instrument name assigned at top left of the scanned score, then choose Instruments, then Rename and select the desired instrument from the categories presented. That also sets the appropriate midi sound available in Photoscore.
