Is there some way to copy one staff to another between two documents?
My ultimate goal is to transcribe a band score into Sibelius. I've been playing each instrument part into a separate MIDI file, opening that MIDI file into Sibelius and then trying to copy and paste the instrument's part into another Sibelius document that contains the full score (line by line).
The problem I've been encountering is that Sibelius gets wound up because the original selection contains only a single staff and the destination document contains a full band score -- it wants to overwrite the top staff. I tried selecting all the bars in just one staff of the destination document but that didn't work.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.
