Re: Delete bar from one stave and not the other
Message:Bernard,I am going to assume that your voice and violin are out of synchronisation - in other words, you want to shift a passage one bar to the left. If that's not the case, you'll have to expand on your question a bit. Obviously, you have discovered that CTRL-click selects the whole system, so that's no good. There may be an easier way, but the way I've done it is to use cut (or copy) and paste - click on the bar following the bar that is to be deleted, then SHIFT-CLICK on the last bar that is out of sync (passage now highlighted in blue), CTRL-X (or CTRL-C) to cut (or copy), then CLICK on the bar that is to be deleted and CTRL-V to paste (the length of passage pasted is automatically determined by the cut or copy length). The last bar selected for the cut or copy will probably need correcting as it will end up as a rest (for cut) or a duplicate of the previous bar (for copy), but that's fairly obvious. Good luck! Peter.
