they're dynamics (piano, mezzo, forte etc.)
you use expression text (control+3) then you use ctrl+the letter of your dynamic
ctrl+p will give youa nice p, same goes with m, f, s, and i think r as well.

my only suggestion is compatibility mode.
click on the sibelius executable, compatibility tab> windows XP or Vista.
Vista worked ok for me, XP there were a lot of issues.

Once I added my second soundcard, fraps stopped recording audio, and now I export the audio and use movie maker to add video to the audio. Some m...

As far as I can tell this should be fairly straightforward. First thing is to create a bar. Create>Bar then put it where you want. The you can either change the time signature to 2/4 or 3/4 or whatever is necessary, or use plugins>composing tools> insert note of rest to give you a full bar of rest, ...

One major thing to remeber: This is NOT an officil forum.
thre forums on sibelius.com are official, this is a 3rd party forum, and isn't affiliated to sibelius.

Invisible Dynamics

I'm playing back a song that seems to be getting louder and quieter almost randomly, and I need to know how to fix this.
I've tried selecting the entire score, and filtering and deleting tempo text, dynamics expression text, and even system text. Nothing works

I was also under the impression that the sounds weren't loaded until you played back the score. I think the tutorial dude said something about it in one of the videos.

chances are that if you're hearing panning and other effects, then you still have general midi selected as your sound set.

Go to play > playback device (at bottom) and selevt sibelius essentials from the dropdown menu.
Save and exit, and it should sound better.

There are included packages with each version of sibelius that make sibelius sound much better, so what I recommend you do is put your disc back in, and look for an install option for Sibelius essentials or Kontakt Player. Install that and listen to your songs in much better quality.

yup, it was set to ASIO on the Delta, channels 5/6 as the speakers are hooked up.
What I've tried is to reinsta;ll my drivers, and Sibelius is telling me there's an issue with my GM-Module, so I'm gonna reistall sibelius as well, see if that works.
