Re: ULtimate 7.0.2. No Send to Sibelius

I've found that if you open Sibelius 7.5 first, eg. with an old or blank score, then the Photoscore Transfer to Sibelius now works. Not a great situation, but you get used to it. could you point out what system you are on, what sequence exactly you are following and where the transfer button is fou...

Re: ULtimate 7.0.2. No Send to Sibelius

Not my experience, even if I open Sib7.5 first, there is no SendToSibelius button or menu anywhere in Ultimate 7.0.2

Re: ULtimate 7.0.2. No Send to Sibelius

it's been answered over at the avid list in the meantime.
PS 7.0.2. does not recognize Sib 7.5, because the formers code historically precedes the latter and thus does not detect Sibs latest version. Time for an update!

thanks.

ULtimate 7.0.2. No Send to Sibelius

I bought Ultimate 7.0.2. (on a W7 64 machine) and find it quite curious that at least one feature mentioned in the manual does simply not pop up in the user interface. For one, there is no "Send to Sibelius" button next to the printer icon in the output window. All I can do is save the read file as ...

yes, I was understating the state of affairs re MusicPad, but my question was geared toward the increased ubiquitousness and array of DigiFrames, paired with the fact that pdf export is implemented fairly batch-friendly, in Sibelius. A Frame that loads pdf, has a manageable screensize and is remote-...

Sheet Music on Digital Frames

Loading a few pdfs of sibelius parts onto my e-book reader (kindle) got me thinking- the "digital music stand" seems to be beckoning (if it's not around already, probably still in the expensive/to be developed further stadium). The kindle does not lend itself to reading sheet music too well (the reg...

maybe I misunderstand you, but mixing different audio instruments within Sibelius is actually possible. It would just be nice to remote control the VST instruments of, say, Cubase itself, to broaden the choices. AND have Sibelius reflect whatever you program in Cubase.

Retaw and Lindpop, I assume you are both not using Sibelius 6. This rewire inclusion is one of the major updates from Sib 5 to Sib 6. If you are using Sibelius 6 simply review the manual, section 4.16 talks about how to utilize rewire. Unfortunately, the posters you address are in fact correct, the...

unfortunately, all you can do at the moment with rewiring Sib6 into, say, Cubase is to feed the audio output of Sibelius into the sequencer (on one stereo track), in sync. Not too useful, really. As soon as Rewire2 is adopted by sibelius (please!), midi exchange and thus more meaningful work will be...

not to belabour the issue, but surely you had to activate sibelius on both installations?

and my actual question is, would you be able to install one more instance on another computer with the "allowance" Sibelius is offering on one single license?

thanks again,

thanks,
so just to be sure I got this right: you are running sib6 on 2 different partitions of the same machine PLUS a laptop, all on one license?

Multi-boot install

I have Sibelius 5 (EDU). The terms say I can install it on 2 machines, which suits the desktop/laptop scheme fine (haven't gone ahead w/ the second install yet). However, on the desktop home machine, I run a multi-boot system since I'm operating a smooth transition from XP to Windows 7. So far, Sibe...
