Hi,
It would be wonderful that re-inputting pitches feature (alt+shift+n) affected also grace notes (maybe as an option).
Thank you,
Xavier.

Re: Sib7.1 Magnetic Layout Settings: Decimal values not allo
It is absolutely anoying and fustrating. I have nocticed that I can't neither enter decimal values in the boxes "spaces right" "spaces up" in the "edit line" window. As nobody has said anything about my post I suppose that this may be a problem related to my system, probably a language keyboard bug....

Sib7.1 Magnetic Layout Settings: Decimal values not allowed?
Hi, I have an important problem: I can not set decimal values for layout setting "minimum distance around object (spaces)". If I enter a decimal number, let's say 2,50, it is changed automatically to 12,50. It is even changed if I use the arrows beside the number to choose the desired distance. This...

Sibelius 7 - Printing parts
Hi,
Does anybody know how to add part names to printed PDF files in Sibelius 7? I print all parts at the same time with a PDF printer and Sibelius overwrites all printed parts on the same file as it gives the same name for all parts...
Thank you!

Hi, Still a better way to control the spacing of the hidden notes is: 1) Select first note of the group of notes you want to compress. 2) Shift-select the last note of the group, and drag to control the spacing of the whole selection. The previous post method makes jumps in the spacing that may be t...

Hidden (playback) notes spacing
Hi, I have found a possible solution to the problem of hidden notes spacing, unless in part. If you want to enter a hidden playback part, you can minimize its spacing selecting the notes (only the hidden layer), and then press Ctrl-Alt-Shift + Left arrow (to minimize) or Right arrow to enlarge the s...

Note respelling in parts vs. score
Hi, Is there any way to manually change the spelling of a note in a part but leave the score unchanged? Let's say I want to show a D# in the Bb Clarinet part of a score, but I don't want an E# in the Clarinet part, but an F. The automathic "Respell remote key signatures..." does not work properly fo...

Change properties for several instruments at the same time
Hi, Is it possible to change one property for several instruments at the same time? For example to show/hide key signature or to set number of lines, or rests positions... When I select several instruments in the "Edit instrument" window, the "edit instrument" option gets gray. Maybe there's a plugi...

Bar numbers disappear when using repeat text
Hi, I have noticed that when using text like “D. C. al fine” or “jump to 3”, measure numbers disappear after the text (both internal blue numbers and printed black numbers). I have a multi movement piece which first movement finishes with D. C. al fine, and I can’t make bar numbers appear for the se...

Sorry for posting a so elemental question, but after searching in the manual, forum and web, I have not found an easy way to put a cut-time time signature in a score. Sibelius 6 only offers C and c as time signatures options...

Thank you for answering! The option that you say is "cautionary accidentals" under "accidentals and dots". The one I mean, is "cautionary naturals" under "clefs and key signatures". This second one makes appear naturals before the new key signature to cancel de previous accidentals. I don't want to ...

Cautionary naturals on Key signatures
Hi, I find very strange that, when "cautionary option" in Key Signature Engraving Rules is checked, Sibelius adds cautionary naturals before the new key signature... I always have seen the naturals in the place which would correspond if they would have been part of the key signature as sharp or flat...
