Re: Tuplet not allowed in 2nd voice
If you're looking to do 8th note triplets - make sure you have the rest selected as well. If you're looking for 16th note triplets, make sure the note you've selected is a 16th note and you have the whole duration of the triplet selected. Hope this helps

Re: splitting joint score parts
My apologies, I don't think I was clear enough with my question. What I want is for the score window to display, for example, 1 staff for flutes 1 and 2. However, I want to create parts for printing which separate flutes 1 and 2 onto separate sheets of paper. I hope this makes it a bit clearer.

splitting joint score parts
I'm writing a marching band score in which many of the score parts are trumpet 1,2 and flute 1,2 etc. Is there a simple way of separating the staff into two separate parts without changing the score, perhaps by having voice 1 in one part and voice 2 in the other. I'm using sibelius 7. Thanks ...

Re: printing bass with tabs
you could try creating a part with both the bass notation and tab parts in it, similarly with the horns

Re: How to add notation in addition to tablature.
Just use an instrument change (ctrl, shift, alt,I) to guitar (notation) for the bits you need, and hide the text that appears telling the player to switch instruments.

Re: Let Sib6 play back without dynamics
click on each dynamic marking, open the properties menu, then un-tick all the boxes under the 'play on pass' heading.
the only trouble with this method is that you have to do it with every dynamic marking manualy
