Re: Arius player playback problem
I think I found it! In the Aria settings the RAM allocation was set to 512 MB. I put it up to 8GB and now I can run a second Aria instance and everything works fine. Thanks for help!!

Re: Arius player playback problem
If I activate a second instance of Aria I have dropouts on long notes, it is only working with one instance (Macbook pro 2017, High sierra). The problem with the midi channel occurs also if I try to play only four trumpets, only half notes, no phrasing, accents, etc.: Sibelius doubles a channel and ...

Re: Arius player playback problem
I use only one instance of Aria player. The sound-set for Garritan JABB3 comes with Sibelius, so I don't see the need to buy another one. And I don't see how this could fix the problem with the midi channels.

Arius player playback problem
I try to use Garritan JABB with Aria player in Sibelius 8.5 OSX for Big Band arranging. It works so far, but Sibelius puts some Instruments on the same channel, so that only one Instrument can play. In the attached screenshot trumpet 1 and trumpet 2 play the same sound and the same channel and canno...

Re: Sibelius 8.5/Macbook pro Midi latency problem
i found it: it was the CP4: a mysterious function named "TxRxSw" has to be "off", instead of "pgm" or "bank+pgm". This function is not mentionend in the manual and I have no idea what it does. Thanks for help!

Re: Sibelius 8.5/Macbook pro Midi latency problem
I discovered this: Midi through works normal, but when I press "N" for note input, the notes come very late after playing the key. The note appears only after the release of the key. In Logic Audio, MIDI works normal. With my old system (Midi Interface AMT8, Sibelius 7.5/8.0, everything worked fine....

Sibelius 8.5/Macbook pro Midi latency problem
I want to use my Yamaha CP4 as in- and output to my macbook pro 2017 (USB-C). Connection is via USB, no Midi cables.Yamaha USB driver 1.3.2. When I play the Keyboard, every note comes with massive latency (about 1/2 second). In logic pro there is no midi latency. With virtual instruments the latency...

falls play doubled
Sibelius player plays saxophone falls as two notes: first the normal note, and then the fall. The normal note has a marcato on it, but it is the same without marcato. other jazz phrasings work correct. Maybe I should change something in the instrument setup - but what?

appogiatura (grace notes) on end of previous bar
The manual says to change the x - factor in the properties window. Ok, this works, but what if the previous bar is one staff higher? Is there a way to do it?
