Page Margin Error, Staves Scrunched
Hi guys. For some reason my staves are all scrunched up at the top of the page. My lowest instrument is bunched up and stuck all the way at the top. All the other pages in the score are are normal, it's just this one page in the middle of the score. It's driving me nuts. Is there anyway I can reset ...

There is no Rewire in my sibelius 7
Hi guys. I would like to run my score to be played through ableton live (the most updated version.) I have the most updated version of sibelius 7 as well. However, I cannot find out how to turn rewire on in Sibelius. There is no rewire symbol in my transport bar. Can someone please help. It is reall...

Re: Spacial/ Graphic score keeps crashing sib 6
Hmm. Well I have a dual core, 4gb of ram, and a 500 gig hard drive with 75 gigs available. I could update to 8 gigs of ram, what do you think? My computer runs everything else really nicely. I don't even know what is taking up all the space. But ya, Sib 6 crashes like every 5 minutes now as I work o...

Upgrading Sib 6 academic version to sib7
Hi everyone. I was just wondering if you it was possible to upgrade sib 6 academic version to sib 7. Or do I actually have to purchase sib 7 academic. I just bought the $150 upgrade and when i type in my sib 6 serial key, it says that my version of sibelius is not eligible for upgrades. I am thinkin...

Re: Spacial/ Graphic score keeps crashing sib 6
Hmm.. it says that I am not allowed to upload .sib files. That's very strange. Also, I have a very powerful imac, so I don't know why my system wouldn't be running it properly, unless I need to defrag or do a disk cleanup or something. Also, it says my file is 270 KB and the max it will allow me to ...

Spacial/ Graphic score keeps crashing sib 6
Sibelius users: Can you open up Sib 6 files in Sib 7, and if you can, does it transfer all of the symbols/ lines accurately? I'm engraving a score that has more symbols and lines than it does notes, and Sib 6 keeps crashing. Do you think upgrading to Sib 7 would solve this problem? Currently Sib 6 i...

Re: Spacial Notation, lining notes up on the barline
Hey Bob, thanks for all of the help. I'm currently using Sib 6, and I've turned all of the magnetic layouts off, and I can only move the note adjacent to the bar line but not actually intersecting it. Can you actually have the notes intersect with the barline in Sib 7? Here is a .jpeg picture of wha...

Re: Spacial Notation, lining notes up on the barline
Yes, I am talking about beat one, I wanted to move beat one to visually display on the bar line. This is so the players know that in the midst of the graphic notation, that they must align on beat 1. There are no "beats" in the score. If beat one is in the "normal spot" just to the right of the bar ...

Re: Spacial Notation, lining notes up on the barline
Hey Bob, Ya I need bar lines, because basically in my handwritten score, I have 1 bar line = 1 second. basically quarternote = 60, but it's spacially notated, so it would make much more visual sense if I could notate notes directly on the barline for the "downbeats." For example, when everyone is pl...

Spacial Notation, lining notes up on the barline
Hi everyone. In my spacial notation score, I would like to have notes actually come on the barline so that barline intersects the notes in the middle of the notehead. This way the visual aspect of the spacially notated score will be even more accurate. Are there any ways to make this possible? Thank...

Re: Spacial Notation, Equal Measure Sizes
Hey thanks, guys that is a ton of help! I have another concern for this piece, however. Is there anyway to make a downbeat of notes come on a bar line? For example, if I wanted all of the players to coordinate in my spacial notation score at one moment. How would I notate all of the instruments toge...

Spacial Notation, Equal Measure Sizes
Hi everyone. I am trying to make a score where 1 second equals one measure, and the notes are all spacial notation. For example, one may think of this as 1/4 time signature in quarter = 60. However, I need all of my measures to be the equal size horizontally in order for my score to work out. Is the...
