I have more than 2,000 Sibelius files that I'd like to convert to MusicXML. Is it possible to do a batch conversion by passing a folder? Or do I have to convert each file, one by one?
Thanks.

Sibelius Sounds 7 for 7.5.1 macOS Sierra install error
I've been running Sibelius 7.5.1 on an iMac Retina 5K (2014) and on an old MacPro. I replaced my old MacPro with a brand new iMac Retina 5k this past week. I unregistered Sibelius 7.5.1 on my old MacPro, installed and registered Sibelius 7.5.1 on my new iMac Retina. So far so good. However, I am una...

Re: How to move Sibelius 7.1.3 to a new computer?
I can report that I now have Sibelius 7.5.1 running on a brand new iMac Retina after coming to my wits end trying to move 7.1.3 from an older iMac to the new iMac Retina. Even after downloading 7.0.x from my Avid account and trying to start from that point on, I kept getting activation failures as n...

Re: How to move Sibelius 7.1.3 to a new computer?
Yeah, I unregistered it on one of my computers before trying to activate it on my new iMac Retina. I have looked on Sibelius.com for a fresh 7.0 install, but I can't find it. I deleted my 7.5, but I'm sure there are remnants on the system, including perhaps the registration app that Avid uses. I thi...

Re: How to move Sibelius 7.1.3 to a new computer?
I ended up downloading the 7.5 trial, but instead of launching 7.5, I launched 7.1.3 and lo and behold, the permission problems disappeared. I was presented with a panel asking me to ACTIVATE. When I clicked on Activate, the panel showed 7.5 for activation, not 7.1.3 So, at this point, since I've pa...

Re: How to move Sibelius 7.1.3 to a new computer?
I found a slew of .dmg Sibelius installs in my Downloads folder on my old iMac. I wonder if any of these will install given that they look like mostly just updaters.

Re: How to move Sibelius 7.1.3 to a new computer?
Okay - I once again copied Sibelius 7.app from my old iMac to the new iMac Retina. There was a permission problem (ownership was me instead of root). So I chowned (using command line) the ownership on the new iMac Retina. The permissions were now identical to Sibelius 7 running on my old iMac. When ...

How to move Sibelius 7.1.3 to a new computer?
Okay - I've given up on upgrading from 7.1.3 to 7.5, at this point, all I'm trying to do is move Sibelius 7.1.3 from my old iMac to my new iMac running Yosemite 10.10. Is there a document explicitly indicating the steps taken to do this? I downloaded Sib 7 from Sibelius.com (don't have the DVDs). On...

Re: Unable to upgrade from 7.1.3 to 7.5
Well, I copied Sibelius 7.1.3 from my old iMac to my new iMac into the /Applications folder. I then launched Sibelius. "Problem with file permissions". The only option is to dismiss the alert box. Now what? F(@*#&($*&*

Re: Unable to upgrade from 7.1.3 to 7.5
Thanks, I'll give this a try today. As I installed Sib 7 via download, I wonder if I'll be able to do that on the new iMac Retina, or if I will have to go all the way back to one of my DVDs and start the process there. Damn, what a mess.

Re: Unable to upgrade from 7.1.3 to 7.5
Okay - so it is confusing. I go to the website, select upgrades and there is a list of options for upgrading from various versions of Sibelius or cross-grade (from Finale etc). You can click a link to see if you are eligible for an upgrade. I thought I would do that in order to determine the upgrade...

Re: Unable to upgrade from 7.1.3 to 7.5
When I check for upgrade eligibility from 7.1.3 via the sibelius.com website, it asks for my license. I gave it my Sib 2 license that I've used to upgrade through Sib 3 thru 7 over the years. The website says i'm not eligible. If they don't want my money or want me to upgrade, then I may have to loo...

Unable to upgrade from 7.1.3 to 7.5
I bought a new iMac Retina. I am installing things from scratch. I have 7.1.3 running on an iMac (2010) and on a Dual Quad (2008). I would like to upgrade from Sibelius 7.1.3 (been using Sibelius since Sibelius 2) to Sibelius 7.5 and install it on the new iMac Retina. Before downloading anything to ...

iMac Retina and Yosemite
Is anybody running Sibelius 7.1.3 on an iMac 5K Retina running Mac OS X 10.10 Yosemite? How is the graphics performance for large orchestral scores? Do I need to upgrade to 7.5?
