thanks hartt007, this is what i do. I save the score under an other name. take out the rhythm section. So the horn section is in the new file. The same i do with the bass and basstab. but when you have a beginner big band than you have to save the score several times for getting the right voices tog...

when i use Parts/Extract Parts/ an i choose the bass and basstab voice, it makes me two separate files.
My way was: save the score under a second name and delete the other voices. But this is a workaround. I think sibelius can solution this in a eleganter way

printing bass with tabs
I have a score with this instruments: tp, tb, sax, kbd, bass, bass-tab, drum
I want to print the horn section together (tb, tb, sax)
I want to print the bass with the bass-tab
my problem: how can i print out the bass voice together with his tabs? Or the three horn sections.

I write Bigband score. I write altosax 1, copy this in the altosax 2 staff. i will change now the pitch of the notes from alto2 part, but not changing the rhyhm. i'll do this with my e-piano like this: select the first note in the alto2 part, pressing a note on the electropiano, jump to he next note...
