Re: Saving a part as a pdf defaults to "Untitled"
Interestingly, after I read your post I tried again the link which Mike had posted and it took me to a completely different page from the one it took me to a few days ago.. broken link maybe? Anyway, that page is much more helpful so hopefully can move forward, thanks again

Re: Saving a part as a pdf defaults to "Untitled"
Thanks for the reply Mike. Usual response - basically "we're not interested, but you might want to visit a page which is long defunct and has a "404" notification". I've heard it said in a few circles that Avid are really only concerned with making money out of Sibelius rather than making it work pr...

Re: Saving a part as a pdf defaults to "Untitled"
Thanks for your advice. The proper title is definitely there in the Score Info, and the .sib file has the title also, but the pdf dialogue box still just appears as Untitled. I've tried opening files from a few months ago which I know have had pdf parts generated without this problem, but they now a...

Saving a part as a pdf defaults to "Untitled"
After using Sibelius for more than 20 years, I have an issue with saving a part as a pdf. Previously the file name always defaulted to the name of the piece of the music, as per the .sib file. It now defaults to "Untitled". This has only just started to happen in the past couple of days; is it a kno...

Chord Symbol Spacing
Although I have used Sibelius for several years now, I still seem to spend half my time tidying up individual parts, mainly piano or keyboard ones. Chord symbols are a particular problem - despite having magnetic layout selected I still end up with things like this (see screenshot) - what am I missi...

Program changes with Sibelius sound set?
I've used Sibelius for several years but so far have only used a GM module as a playback device. I'm now working on a large orchestral score so decided to give the Sibelius orchestral sound set a try. I've run into a snag on the percussion stave - I'm putting the timps and glock / xylophone on the s...

Chord symbol - augmented with added 9th
I'm trying to write a chord symbol which is Ebm+(add9) - no matter how I try, nothing doing (see screen shot) - in bar 2 I've just left it as Ebm+, in bar 3 I've tried to reflect the fact it's got an added F but Sibelius refuses to display it, instead putting a pointless "&" sign in - any ideas? Tha...

Playback at max velocity
Sibelius has just started playing everything back at maximum velocity. It seemed to start this when I opened an old file, possibly one created in an earlier version. Have tried all the usual things - live playback, transform, altering the velocity of each note manually, changing the playback device,...

Custom Metric Modulation
Hello, anyone any thoughts on this: I want to create a piece of text (ideally a metric modulation, but could be ordinary text as playback is not important. The text would look like a metric modulation and would read: (I will describe the symbols rather than trying to enclose a hand-drawn pdf or anyt...
