Hey Bobp, you can also use the pencil with the Newzik app.
What I usually do is exporting my Sibelius file into MusicXML and then import it through Newzik and do my mark-ups on my iPad pro.
The only drawback is that you can't edit, you just annotate on the score...

It is normal for a software such a Sibelius to separate the soundfont from the software itself. The higher the quality of the soundfont, the heavier. And Sibelius has good sounds.
